We all can only do the best we can to start right here at home.. right here within our own hearts. I’m sure all of us would like to change and help the entire world.. but we have to start in our own communities. Bless those who travel and work to help third world countries and bless those who work to bring food to the elderly and bless those who pick up the garbage and bless those who help wounded animals.. I mean we could go on and on about all the different ways in which we all are called to help others in this world. I am called to use my music to work within local communities to help bring them together for support, love and stress release. That way maybe, just maybe, we won’t have our local post man or woman go out and shoot down a bunch of people because he or she needed some help.. maybe that he or she will realize they they have a loving supporting community to turn to. No matter what we have to start within our own hearts and the heart of our community.

Thanks for such a great write up of the Cee Cee James Roadshow. Cee Cee is not only a truly gifted singer and songwriter, she is motivated by a sincere desire to do good in this world and to help other people. That’s why she put together the Roadshow concept – so we can come together as a community and learn about ways we can support and help one another. We will be showcasing organizations in the HELP Network here on Whidbey Island as well as Transition Whidbey, a nonprofit that promotes empowerment through teaching skills for self-suficiency and sustainability. I grew up in Arkansas, and I saw a lot of hungry people there and, unfortunately, there are still many, many hungry people in this country, including Island County. I am so grateful for the Good Cheer Food Bank and Thrift Stores. You guys do a superb job for our community

I never want to compare us to the third world, but need to submit a reminder that there would be empty bellies right here in South Whidbey if it wasn’t for Good Cheer Food Bank. In the month of May we provided food for 562 children that otherwise may not have had a breakfast, lunch or dinner. The reason Good Cheer can provide that support is because of the support it recieves from the community of South Whidbey.

The settings are superb and the music will be enchanting the audiance. In the third world the settings are enchanting the music may be thrilling but the bellies are empty. Poverty in most of these lands is a problem share some thing you have been provided by thr Great God with them .
